A walk through Trondheim is a walk through history

If you wish to walk to the conference from your hotel, the conference (Held at NTNU Campus Gløshaugen) is just a 20 - 25 minute walk from down town Trondheim.

There are two alternate routes, both taking you through historical sights. You can see both routes in the videos below, starting at the Royal Garden Hotel and ending at the main entrance of the conference.

The first route takes you across the Old Town Bridge and through the Old Town; famous for its iconic wooden houses, cozy cafes and the Trampe Bicycle lift.

The second route takes you to the Nidaros Cathedral, which is considered a Norwegian national treasure. This is where the concert on the evening of the 18th will be held. Its iconic West-Front is worth a visit of its own, with its oldest parts being form the 1600s.
