The 13th Trondheim Conference on Carbon Capture, Transport and Storage (CCS), 16-19 June 2025
TCCS is back
The level of CCS and CCU activity in Europe and North America, and globally has gained significant momentum in recent years. Plans like the European Green Deal, Fit for 55, REPowerEU, the Industrial Carbon Management strategy, and the Net-Zero Industry Act, as well as landmark reports like the IEA’s Net Zero by 2050 and the IPCC working groups, have called for fast action in CCS and CCU development and implementation. Considerable up-scaling of CCS and CCUS deployment is integral to all realistic pathways for meeting our emission reduction targets.
The bi-annual Trondheim CCS Conference series is a leading scientific CCS technology conference. Since its inception in 2003, the conference has become a globally important meeting place for stakeholders from across the CCS and CCU value chain. In 2023, the conference was attended by more than 600 CCS experts from all over the world. Typically, the conference has 120-150 oral presentations, five or six parallel sessions, over 100 posters, and world-leading keynote speakers.
The 13th conference, TCCS-13, will build on the heritage of the previous conferences, and will be held from the 16th to 19th June 2025, in Trondheim, Norway. For the first time, the conference will span two and a half days. Other key events are planned to be held back-to-back with the conference.
