We are excited to invite you to submit your abstract for the 2025 edition of the EERA DeepWind Offshore Wind Research and Innovation Conference, that will be held in Trondheim 15-17 January 2025. Emphasis in the programme is on sustainable wind development, digital twin technology, floating wind and large scale integration.

Boost your professional profile and recognition by submitting a paper abstract addressing any of the topics in the programme. First authors of abstracts selected for presentation (oral or poster) are granted reduced fee for participation.
|
EERA DeepWind 2025 is an international event aiming to present the best ongoing research and innovation related to deep sea offshore wind farms, both bottom-fixed and floating. The conference has been developing every year since 2004, and is established as an important venue on deep sea offshore wind R&D organized by SINTEF, NTNU and EERA JP wind.
|
As always, the programme will include a mix of plenary presentations with broad appeal and presentations in parallel sessions or by posters on specific offshore wind science and technology themes.

Submit an abstract of no more than 500 words, related to one of the following topics:
|

- New turbine and generator technology
- Grid connection and power system integration
- Met-ocean conditions
- Operation and maintenance
- Substructures and mooring
- Marine operations and logistics
- Wind farm optimisation
- Experimental testing and validation
- Wind farm control systems
- Societal impact, controversies and regulatory framework
- Environmental impact

Preparation of full papers is optional. These will go through a full peer-review and successful submissions will be published on-line in the IOP Journal of Physics. There will be an award for best poster.
