EERA DeepWind 2023 20th Deep Sea Offshore Wind R&I Conference

Registration is now open for the 20th edition of the EERA DeepWind Deep Sea Offshore Wind R&I conference, which will take place in beautiful Trondheim, Norway, 18-20 January 2023.
|
As always, the programme will include a mix of plenary presentations with broad appeal and presentations in parallel sessions or by posters on specific offshore wind science and technology themes.

Reminder: Call for abstracts

Are you a wind power scientist? Boost your professional profile and recognition by submitting an abstract addressing any of the topics in the programme.
|
Conference topics are:
- New turbine and generator technology
- Grid connection and power system integration
- Met-ocean conditions
- Operation and maintenance
- Installation and substructures
- Marine operations and logistics
- Wind farm optimisation
- Experimental testing and validation
- Wind farm control systems
- Societal impact and controversies
- Environmental impact
- Legal and regulatory framework
The abstract should not exceed 500 words and should be uploaded via the conference portal, as described on the EERA DeepWind website.

Preparation of full papers is optional. These will go through a full peer-review and successful submissions will be published online in a special issue for EERA DeepWind of the IOP Journal of Physics. There will be an award for best poster.
