EERA DeepWind 2024 is an international event aiming to present the best ongoing research and innovation related to deep sea offshore wind farms, both bottom-fixed and floating. The conference has been developing every year since 2004, and is established as an important venue on deep sea offshore wind R&D organized by SINTEF, NTNU and EERA JP wind.

As always, the programme will include a mix of plenary presentations with broad appeal and presentations in parallel sessions or by posters on specific offshore wind science and technology themes.

Submit an abstract of no more than 500 words, related to one of the following topics:

- New turbine and generator technology
- Grid connection and power system integration
- Met-ocean conditions
- Operation and maintenance
- Installation and sub-structures
- Marine operations and logistics
- Wind farm optimisation
- Experimental testing and validation
- Wind farm control systems
- Societal impact and controversies
- Environmental impact
- Legal and regulatory framework

Preparation of full papers is optional. These will go through a full peer-review and successful submissions will be published on-line in the IOP Journal of Physics. There will be an award for best poster.

The scientific committee of offshore floating wind R&I conference EERA DeepWind 2023 received over 70 paper submissions from conference participants. This is a record for the event.
