Liv Monica Stubholt, Chairman of Board Oslo Fortum Varme, Advokatfirmaet Selmer AS
|
|
Liv Monica Stubholt is partner in the law firm Selmer, focusing primarily on natural resources industries and advice on compliance, governance and the legal dimension of sustainability.
|
In addition to more than 20 years of legal practice she has top executive industry experience in the Aker group of companies. She serves as non-executive board member for several companies including in CCS og hydrogen. She advises investors on sustainable (ESG) investments including on the developing EU taxonomy regime.
|
She is engaged in the circular economy and waste to energy sector. She serves as non-executive chairman of the board of Fortum Oslo Varme, a waste to energy and district heating company with a full-scale carbon capture project awarded substantial funding in the Norway's Longship project.
|
She served as chairman and later CEO of the Aker carbon capture technology provider company 2009 - 2013. She is now joining the board of Aker Carbon Capture listed on Euronext Growth.
|
Furthermore, she led the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy's CCS efforts as State Secretary 2007-2009.

Clement Merat, Low Carbon and CCUS R&D Manager, Total E&P Norge
|
|
Clement Merat is Low Carbon and CCUS R&D Manager in the Stavanger Research Center of TOTAL in Norway. Clement has an engineering degree from the Institut National des Science Appliquées (INSA-France) and a master of science degree in fluid mechanics from the Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology (KTH-Sweden). With more than ten years in the energy industry, Clement has occupied various positions including O&G project management and coordination of process conceptual study. Over the past five years, he has been managing R&D activities for CO2 transport by ship and by pipeline. More recently he has been appointed Low Carbon and CCUS R&D Manager for Norway and oversees activities on CO2 capture, CO2 transport, offshore wind power and decarbonization of offshore O&G activities.

Roy Vardheim, CEO (acting), Gassnova SF
|
|
Roy Vardheim is the CEO of Gassnova SF (acting). Vardheim has been in charge of Gassnova’s TCM department from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that he was the CEO of Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM).
|
Vardheim has extensive experience in executive management in a series of companies, including periods as CEO of Norske Skog Saugbrug AS and Borealis. He also has international experience in the top management, including roles at Borouge in the Middle East and BIS in Scandinavia. Vardheim serves as the Chairman on a number of Boards, including those of TCM Assets AS, Grenland Havn IKS, Skagerrak Sparebank, Frier Vest Holding AS and Grenland Havn Eiendom AS. Roy Vardheim holds a Master's degree in Industrial chemistry from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (now known as the Norwegian University of Science and Technology).
